Michael Møllmann and Hansen Sailing Team Receive Extraordinary Recognition from Garmin

One of the most prominent participants in the Garmin Round Denmark Race over the years is undoubtedly Hansen Sailing Team with their boat Palby Marine. With an impressive sailing career, they have established themselves as one of Denmark’s strongest offshore crews – and now they can add another record to their list of achievements.

In the Garmin Round Denmark Race 2024, Michael Møllmann and his crew set a new inshore record with a time of 91 hours, 13 minutes, and 19 seconds. This achievement solidifies the team’s dominance, as they now hold both the offshore and inshore records, and earned the skipper a Garmin MARQ Captain Gen2 watch.

A Special Recognition from Garmin

After a successful participation in the RORC Caribbean 600, where the team spent the winter competing in the Caribbean, Michael Møllmann received an unexpected surprise. While packing up Palby Marine, Garmin honored the skipper with an exclusive Garmin MARQ Captain Gen2 watch, engraved with the new record time.
